Parijat is choreographing Elyria, a new play written by Deepa Purohit. We are preparing for the play’s off-Broadway debut at the Atlantic Theater in Chelsea, New York!

Elyria is a contemporary drama about Gujaratis, specifically Gujus who are long-settled in Kenya and Tanzania, then migrate to London and the U.S. Elyria takes place in the town of Elyria, OH.

And yes, Elyria is a serious play with dance. I mean, you have Gujaratis, so you better have garba!
