You can help Parijata Dance Company realize our work by making a tax-deductible donation. Your support helps us cover essential production expenses like pay for collaborators, space rental, video documentation, and materials, not covered by artist fees and grants.

We are currently developing How Do I Become WE, a participatory performance ritual based on a folk tale in which a woman has a story stuck inside. Most recently, Parijat developed choreography, staging, and script for several sections of HDIBW at Gibney’s Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center in NYC, working with dancers Anna Gichan, Trinity Bobo, Devika Chandani, Rei Azakawa-Smith, Bree Breeden, and Nadia Halim—plus guest performer Zavé Martohardjono. Parijat is also working collaboratively with composer Andy Miller and visual artist Dedalus Wainwright.

Parijat won a Gibney Dance-in-Process Residency and NYSCA Choreography Commission for this phase of the project, but we still need help covering costs. If you are able to help out, we’d greatly appreciate it—Thank you for making our work possible!

Parijata Dance Company is fiscally sponsored Unique projects, Inc. which provides non-profit arts administration. Contributions to PDC through Unique projects, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
